Surjit K Lahiri, Vice President — Technology, heads the Storage, Semiconductor, Cloud and Testing practices and is responsible for building innovative services and new solution capabilities in the associated verticals.

More than a decade ago, Surjit was instrumental in building the Semiconductor services vertical at Mindteck. He has over 25 years of extensive and varied experience spanning across industrial automation, cyber-physical systems, high-tech manufacturing, machine vision and the internet of things.  Prior to joining Mindteck in 2005, he managed complex, real-time equipment control software projects for semiconductor capital production and R&D equipment at Novellus Systems, Inc. (now Lam Research) catering to the needs of global semiconductor wafer fabricating plant end clients. At start of his career, Surjit was groomed at Siemens, Ltd. for designing and implementing real-time industrial automation and cyber-physical solutions for Siemens’s global high-tech manufacturing clientele.

Surjit earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Electronics from the University of Poona, India. His current interest areas include video analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
