Bangalore, January 9, 2007: Mindteck (India) Limited has been recommended for ISO 27001:2005 certification – the most comprehensive and widely acknowledged certification for information security. Mindteck received the BS 7799-2:2002 certification on 20th July, 2005. The current ISO 27001 has replaced the BS 7799 standard.

ISO 27001 is an information security management standard. The basic objective of the standard is to help establish and maintain an effective information security management system, using a continual improvement approach. This ensures that Mindteck has the framework to design, implement, manage, maintain, and enforce information security processes and controls systematically and consistently throughout the organization.
