Bangalore, October 30, 2006: Mindteck (India) Ltd, a global IT services company, today announced its financial results for the second quarter ended on September 30, 2006 of the FY 2006-07. Total revenue for the quarter on a consolidated basis increased by 126% to Rs. 25.76 crore, as against Rs. 11.39 crore for the corresponding period of the previous year. The net profit for the quarter was Rs. 1.36 crore compared to Rs. 0.74 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year, a rise of 83%.
Commenting on the impressive performance; Mr P. A. Ananthanarayanan, Group CEO, said, "We are now entering a phase of consolidation following the successful integration of our acquisition in the US last quarter. We continue to witness strong demand in the Embedded Systems services as well as SAP Support services."
