The Challenge

Our customer's Wafer Defect Inspection tool generates Trace logs for every event. These logs are sent back to customer from FABs for many references, verifications, validations and general troubleshooting.

Our customer found it very challenging to manually track the field data and required a comprehensive solution to be on top of the solution chain.

Mindteck's Approach


	Designed and developed a GUI based Trace Explorer, from ground up, which loads either a full trace directory containing thousands of traces or a single trace file.
	Packaged the application with advanced filtering and sorting capabilities.
	Anticipated implied need for adding project creating/saving/restoring capabities on the analyzed data based on individual field issue .

The Benefits


	Exceeded the customers expectation by delivering more features than required.
	Increased the productivity of the customers product team by providing a tool which would enable the customer to quickly analyze field issues and recommend the correct resolution.
