Mindteck tests the customer's Etch and Dielectric equipment. The
testing is done in an offshore mode. To facilitate offshore testing,
Mindteck has access to hardware and software simulators.
Knowledge transfer to the testing team is done at the onsite location
of the customer. The team travels to the customer location and gets
trained in the actual environment. Generally the training lasts
for 3 - 4 weeks.
The testing for this customer is also based on monthly targets
of Service Requests (SRs). The testing teams work towards accomplishing
these targets.
The customer assigns the SRs to the testing team. The testing then
tests the software to ensure that the SR has been successfully closed
without any issues. If problems exist in the software, then these
are reported to the customer.
