About The Customer

The customer is a global test and measurement solutions and services provider. Customer provides test, measurement and monitoring devices, semiconductor products and chemical analysis tools that are invaluable in research and development, manufacturing, installation and management.

The Challenge
The current system had critical usability issues. This objective was to resolve the usability issues, provide a user-friendly interface and improve the GUI of the application. In addition, it was necessary to provide a CORBA interface for the backend legacy code.

This project was executed in a collaborative development model. Customer teams and Mindteck teams were working on the same system. Strong project management practices had to be put in place to take care of the resulting complexity.

The Solution
The project team delivered a comprehensive solution. Design changes were incorporated, which helped to a great extent in enhancing the performance of the system. The usability issues were resolved and an improved GUI was incorporated to the system.
