The customer's Windows-based application connects to a host of water and wastewater monitoring instruments such as flow loggers and flow meters, generating graphs and reports for data analysis.

Now, the customer sought to pull away from competition with an enriched feature-rich application that would:

	Support feature - advanced data editing and report generating
	Include expanded end user choices
	Connect to devices either request ing for or 'pulling' data from devices

The Solution

Our augmented solution enabled users to conduct advanced, streamlined studies and generate sophisticated reports. Some of the advanced features included Best Fit Curves based on Third Degree and Manning Formula, Repeatable Reference Curves, Accumulate Statistical F unction with and without the reset option, Flow Calculation based on level and velocity, Series Formulae Calculation, Text B oxes (with additional information for various data points), Block Edit, and Data Export to PDF and HTML formats.

The system came with different versions based on the key code/license key. End users could pick and choose software depending on usage. Potential buyers were offered a time-bound, leased, evaluation copy of the software. Support for multiple databases like Oracle and MS SQL was provided, bringing significant advantages to large enterprises. The systems accepted data packets ‘pushed’ from multiple devices – a power-saving feature.
