Mindteck Joins ZigBee Alliance

Bangalore, February 17, 2005: Mindteck, a leading provider of information technology solutions in the areas of embedded systems and IT services, has become a member of ZigBee alliance. ZigBee is a reliable, cost-effective, low-power, wirelessly networked protocol based on an open global standard.

 

Mindteck is now one of the global organisations to acquire this membership. The goal of the ZigBee Alliance, which includes some of the leading companies and individuals in the industry, is to provide the consumer with ultimate flexibility, mobility, and ease of use by building wireless intelligence and capabilities into every day devices. ZigBee operates in the same band as 802.11b standard, Bluetooth, microwaves and certain other devices.
